Keith, Greene, Centre Director

Keith has worked in public, charitable and private sector healthcare in senior management and operational roles for more than 25 years. His most recent appointment was as Group Operations Director at an award-winning nursing and care home company specialising in elderly and dementia care. He is a professional change manager and speaks regularly at international conferences and workshops on this topic. Keith's  day-to-day job is to ensure the delivery of consistently high quality and person-centred care for everyone either staying or living at the Greene Care Homes.

Gail Greene, Director of Nursing

Gail  has worked across the public, charitable and private healthcare sectors in a variety of senior roles, most recently as CEO for a large international charity that provides nursing and residential care to adults throughout the United Kingdom. She is a director of a thriving healthcare consultancy group that support a variety of care settings around the UK. Gail is delighted to be working alongside the nursing team at The Greene Care Homes in the role of Director of Nursing and being able to use her 30+ years of nursing and sector experience to encourage, develop and support the staff to delivery high quality person-centred care. 

Alaji Kamara, Admin Manager


Kamara has worked at The Greene Care Homes for over 8 years and has wealth of experience which covers all areas of nursing.



Kamara Says: I really love working at The Greene Care Homes and I am proud to say that I have been here for over 8 years.  I am very passionate about my role and our residents.  I have a great team that consists of activities coordinators and physiotherapists working alongside our fantastic nurses and carers.  I particularly love being able to mentor, advise and support my staff.




Shylene Folashade, Matron


Shylene has 30 years’ experience in working in the independent sector and has worked for the company for the past 8 years, co-ordinating and managing all administrative activities. Our business operations are in safe hands with her at the healm.

Caroline Young, Finance Manager


I have nearly 8 years of experience at Greene Care Homes, currently serving as the Finance Manager. My responsibilities include handling day-to-day finances, managing invoices, processing purchases, overseeing payroll, and preparing monthly management accounts.


Prior to this, I worked for a company involved in constructing and leasing buildings to the NHS. Finance is a natural fit for me due to my affinity for structure and numbers, and it also runs in my family.


Supporting and mentoring my finance assistant, meeting deadlines, and problem-solving are fulfilling aspects of my role. I am pursuing a degree and have completed various courses to enhance my skills.


The supportive and caring environment at Greene Care Homes, where individuals are valued, inspires me. I believe in active listening, collaborative problem-solving, and delivering on commitments..


Louise Thomson, Catering Manager

Louise has worked in the independent sector for the past 20 years. In addition to his management and catering tasks he also provides training to all staff in Food & Hygiene and is accredited by the Chartered Institute of Environmental Health. 


Louise says “I have been with the Greene Care Homes since we opened our doors. My passion for food is second to none and my passion for caring for  people through the meals they have matches it; so working at the Greene Care Homes is absolutely perfect for me. I love to create delicious, nutritious menus for our wonderful residents.  I always cook with love and attention to detail and it definitely shows as the residents are always so happy with their menu!”
