When you are looking for the ideal nursing placement for a relative who is in their younger years – a key

 factor will be trying to ensure that they are exceptionally looked after with others of a similar age. Too

 often, younger adults who need nursing care are accommodated alongside ‘older people’ in the more

 traditional ‘nursing home’ model of care.

Younger Adults Care

The need for the highest level and quality of nursing, delivered by a staff team of qualified and skilled individuals who know and understand the needs of Younger Adults is always going to be your highest priority.

Our Kensington Suite is specially designed for residents who have especially complex nursing needs that may include traumatic and acquired brain injury care, early onset Parkinsons or multiple sclerosis and Huntington’s disease. We also offer slow stream rehabilitation alongside maintenance physiotherapy and occupational therapy programmes.

Wellbeing & Care

We are well versed in the management of PEG feed systems, nutritional needs and inputs, complex continence care, Bariatric care and nursing needs, post stroke rehabilitation and diabetes management.

Our highly qualified and experienced physiotherapy and occupational therapy specialists work closely with their nursing colleagues to ensure that all residents have the best possible package of care to meet those complex needs.

On our Kensington Suite the activity programme is led by what the residents want from life. We have a range of dynamic social activities planned on a weekly basis by our activities coordinator – stimulating both body and mind.

Our therapy kitchen provides opportunities for residents to plan and cook meals as a small group. Our garden and local parks and amenities are all accessible to our residents.

Suite Facilities

All of our rooms are en-suite, with specialist equipment where required. Rooms are tastefully decorated and residents are encouraged to bring items of furniture or belongings to re-create a homely feel to help them settle in.  All rooms have a television, telephone and nurse call service. There is a free WiFi service throughout.
