Respite & Convalescence Care
Speed recovery and rehabilitation after an illness or operation with individually tailored nursing care, along with our in-house physio, chef and hairdresser. We also welcome holiday stays, for carers who need a break – with maximum peace of mind that their loved ones are well cared for.
We support convalescence after surgery and to aid cancer recovery, including care of those with complex needs. We have particular expertise in rehabilitation following hip replacements and knee replacements.
Nursing Care
We work hard to provide both nursing care and support alongside independent living and choice. With that in mind, we achieve a good balance of intervention alongside independence and privacy. Regular and varied activities ensure fun and sociability in our family-orientated home from home.
We are closely linked with an excellent NHS GP surgery which is also inspected and regulated by the CQC and holds a ‘Good’ rating from that process. Private practice GP’s are also available for one off – or regular consultations as and when required.
Dementia Care
All our staff receive in-depth dementia awareness training so they can help our residents live life to the full. Relatives and friends are welcomed onto training to help them better understand why their loved one is behaving differently.
Palliative Care
Your psychological, physical and spiritual wellbeing – and that of your family – are our priority at this sensitive and emotional time. We follow the Gold Standards Framework. Through expert pain management and advanced care plans, we ensure peace, tranquillity and the highest possible standard of end-of-life care.
